Infrastructure Project Manager

Infrastructure Project Manager sought by my City based Investment Banking client.

The Infrastructure Project Manager role is focused on the delivery of IT related Projects. Each Project must be managed in accordance with in-house Project Management Methodologies which are based on PRINCE2. Projects are managed end to end and the PM is required to create and maintain all project documentation, design and manage budgeting, risk analysis and stakeholder management.
This role is very focused on the promotion and continuous improvement of project management related processes.

Essentilal skill set:

* PRINCE2 Practitioner
* 5 years Project Management experience in a financial institution
* Pragmatic and creative approach
* Senior Stakeholder management
* Experience of managing matrix structured project teams
* Organised with high level of attention to detail
* Technically familiar with WinTel, Oracle and Virtualisation technologies

Desirable skill set:

* Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
* Advanced Microsoft Project
* Advanced Microsoft Excel
* Robust Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
* Detailed Planning skills
* Risk and Issue management
* Ability to think outside the box
* Resource management - Produce and maintain a mechanism for recording and reporting resource capacity

* Ability to collaborate with IT staff at remote and offshore locations
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
