HR Manager - Suffolk £50k plus benefitsMy client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support their key UK manufacturing site in Suffolk . On occasion, the HR Manager will be required to travel to other UK sites. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Manager is responsible for up to 200 employees looking at all aspects of HR, Training, Leadership, Health & Safety & Organisational Change including Redundancies and Consultations.Key responsibilities include:Performance ManagementEnsure that good performance is recognised and poor performance is managed. Develop and manage performance review process, succession planning and development plans.Reward and RecognitionManage annual pay review process (including performance-related pay), conduct salary benchmarking and manage all other elements of reward Employee EngagementManage employee engagement process across the business, including survey, co-ordination with external parties and follow-up activities.Recruitment and RetentionManage the recruitment process for the site and provide support to European businesses as necessary. Highlight suitable training programmes to fulfil development requirements. Co-ordinate with third-party recruitment/training bodies as required.Compliance and LegalEnsure business is fully compliant with local regulations. Develop and manage internal policies and roll-out corporate policies as required. Manage internal disciplinary grievancy processes and co-ordinate with external parties as required (e.g. legal advice).Person Specification:· The ideal person needs to carry enough weight to interview and deal with senior staff but also be happy to roll their sleeves up and get involved with ground floor issues.· Experience of working in a manufacturing/distribution background is required (working within a shift-work environment is desirable).· The candidate should be ideally Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.· A self-starter, the successful candidate will need to display determination, directness, tact and diplomacy in equal measure as the situation demands and they must be capable of handling confidential information discretely.· Experience of different cultures and language skills would be advantageous.To apply, please submit your CV including details of current remuneration and availability.
