Software QA Enginer
* Develop, publish, implement, and maintain test plans based on overall project requirements
* Coordinate software releases and related issues with Development, QA, Operations and support centre
* Attend project start-up meetings to capture requirements and ensure handover criteria is met.
* Research and evaluate various testing and support tools
* Contribute towards QA process improvement initiatives to help in the expansion of the scope for QA function.
* Support other Collections areas in delivering to schedule
* Escalation of any issues that will affect our ability to test.
* Ensuring effective reporting, tracking and documentation of production issues
* Work with all teams within and outside of the Collections team to resolve 3rd level support issues raised by clients and escalated by thesupport centre
Qualifications
Education:
* Educated to Technical degree level or equivalent working experience.
Required skills:
* Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
* Methodical and organised with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask, manage deadlines and expectations, must be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and be pro-active in investigation of issues.
* Must be a team player but able to work independently with minimal supervision and work under tight deadlines.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Ability to interact with multiple groups across multiple projects.
* At least 12 months experience in a QA/Test Role or related field.
Desired skills:
* Experience of financial markets
* Proven expertise with software testing methodologies and tools or ISEB qualification
* Technical Writing experience
