My client is looking to recruit an experienced and innovative Senior Analyst Programmer, who can support the business and its objectives through the provision of technical knowledge and expert web solutions within the core technologies of ASP.net, IIS MS SQL Server, Sharepoint and VMWare.
The role would suit someone seeking face-to-face exposure with customers and the business, and someone who is confident in engaging with both technical and non-technical people. It acts as the conduit between the business and IT, whilst providing up to 50% - 60% hands-on build experience.
This post will be a key position in designing and building secure, scalable, effective web based solutions and the global infrastructure platform supporting these solutions for clients. You will be accountable for the solutions proposed and their implementation. You will be working in collaboration with technical support, infrastructure, security and sales and services teams. You will also be expected to work with external suppliers and 3rd parties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a successful Analyst Programmer, with some exposure to architecture principals to play an instrumental part in helping this Company exploit first to market opportunities in the cloud space. You will have a major role in business proposition discussions, and follow through to key stakeholders with the design and presentation of technical solutions and workflows that will include costs, alternative options, risk and issues.
The ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification and/or University Degree in an IT or computing discipline, and have at least 5 years relevant experience in designing and implementing enterprise level, customer facing, secure web solutions. Demonstrable experience in .Net software development, ideally in a senior capacity, is essential.This is an exciting and challenging opportunity that would suit someone looking for a move 'from behind a screen coding' to a more customer facing role.
