Our client is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager, who will ultimately be responsible for the extraction of all requirements from contracts and creating a set of programme deliverables, and then ensuring the programme deliver against those deliverables.
The role will be responsible for:
* Owning the contractual obligations and ensuring the Programme understands and meets those obligations.
* Working closely with the legal team, procurement team and project managers to ensure external suppliers to the business understand and meet delivery requirements.
* Motivating, guiding and managing a project team alongside establishing the clear ownership of project tasks through effective delegation and ensuring that the necessary tools and resources are available to the team to perform their role to the highest of their ability.
* Effectively managing various projects or work streams simultaneously, ensuring that delivery against conflicting priorities and strict deadlines are met.
* Ensuring the coordination of management deliverables and monitoring the programme/project ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and the appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
Ideally, the candidate will have:
* Experience in a regulated industry, for example financial services, telecoms or utilities.
* Relevant qualifications for project delivery, such as Prince2 or Scrum Master.
* Demonstrable experience in building and developing high performing teams through regular development, coaching and feedback.
Additionally, you will have strong communication skills will the ability to facilitate and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support and enable project delivery.
