Digital Platform Release Manager - Infrastructure sought by leading financial services organisation based near Southwark.
The role:
* Forward plan the major release windows and cycles across the digital platform * Communicate all key releases that might impact users of the platform, on multiple occasions for bigger releases, on all relevant channels. Also communicate any alterations to already communicated plans. * Create release pages/notes for platform releases, ensuring that releases are well prepared, communicated and recorded * Participate in regional and global CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks - represent platform teams’ releases in these meetings * Work with other release engineers to understand impacts of platform releases, or of peripheral releases impacting the platform
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: * Demonstrable expertise of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred) * Significant knowledge and experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development * Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion * System operations knowledge, including ITIL and management of infrastructure change * Experience of working with audit requirements and change management and control procedures
