Storage Consultant (SAN) required for an initial 1 month rolling contract urgently for Investment Bank based in the city of London
Managing the Unix/Wintel SAN software and components end-to-end; providing support to Unix/NT sysadmin groups and provisioning storage as required.
Installing, configuring and troubleshooting EMC Symmetrix/DMX/Clariion arrays and Brocade/McData/Cisco switches - including fibre connections, zoning, volume assignment and working with the sysadmins to configure hosts with PowerPath and SYMCLI software.
Installing, configuring and troubleshooting HP EVA arrays.
Working with EMC engineering to define EMC BIN file requirements as and when required
Configuring and utilising ECC (EMC Control Center) version 5.x
