1st / 2nd Line Support Analyst - AD, Windows, Exchange & IT Audit
My prestigious client in Birmingham is looking for a Support Analyst on initial 3 months contract.
Role Description
·Undertake a desktop audit across the 4 sites Birmingham, Nottingham, Solihull and Stratford. To capture desktop information such as applications in use, local devices attached and to catalogue the information in pre-prepared excel spreadsheets for the Project to process.
·Interact with the business customers on a daily basis
·To provide 1st and 2nd Line Helpdesk support for the IT team
·To provide break/fix support across multiple sites
·Will work for the Project and report into IT Support Team Leader
Skills
·Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems including Active Directory
·Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
·Understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.
·Network trouble shooting skills
·Understanding of telecoms systems
·Previous Helpdesk experience.
·Excellent telephone manner.
·Experience of using call logging software.
·Excellent presentation skills
Ideal candidate must be a strong communicator and have excellent ability to manage various stakeholders
