Salesforce Configuration Expert - Administrator
This is a chance to work with a leading international organisation that provides publishing of academic journals, online databases, and services across the life, physical, chemical, applied sciences and clinical medicine.
Salesforce Configuration Expert - required to:
· Act as end user support
· Analyse requirements and recommend solutions which meet those requirements
· Configure proof of concepts within the sandbox environment and demonstrate to stakeholders, clearly articulating pros and cons, to allow decisions to be made
· Manage the deployment from sandbox to the live environment and support end user adoption
Key tasks:
Analysis and support:
· Provide end user support by analysing change requests/support calls, to ensure the requirement is properly understood and the problem is solved effectively in a timely manner
· Take requirements specifications and analyse possible solutions within SalesForce, make recommendations as to the most appropriate and scalable solution
· Escalate to third party support to find the best solution where appropriate
Salesforce configuration:
· Create, configure and maintain custom fields, pick lists, page layouts and related lists, reports & dashboards, as required
· Design and configure customised solutions in the sandbox environment, in order to prove concepts
· Write release notes and implement changes to the live system
· Monitor and review the data held within Salesforce to uncover data integrity issues and/or opportunities for process improvement and perform mass data imports/changes using the API or Salesforce import tool, as required
End user adoption and communication:
· Hold stakeholder demonstrations of proofs of concept, to confirm solutions meet needs and to secure buy-in
· Deliver supporting materials as necessary, e.g. process/support guidance and training materials, in order to guarantee successful adoption
General:
· Oversee development work and liaise with external/internal suppliers as required
· Carry out any other reasonable duties, as they arise
Qualifications:
· SalesForce Certified Administrator (ADM201) (essential)
· Salesforce.com Certified Advanced Administrator (desirable)
· Salesforce.com Certified Sales Cloud Consultant (desirable)
· Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce (desirable)
