Employee Relations Advisor

A large national, constantly expanding organisation is currently recruiting an Employee Relations Advisor to work within a dynamic and bustling business environment. The Employee Relations Advisor will have the ability to handle high volume ER queries and the ability to handle complex cases up to dismissal level. This role will support the business in improving absence levels, performance management, succession planning and reducing staff turnover.
Key Accountabilities:
· Provide expert advice on all employee relations casework such as absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary and contractual queries
· Lead and support managers in the handling of employee relations process and design & produce supporting documentation
· Advise on HR Policies and procedures
· Work with Managers to develop capability , coaching and mentoring as and when appropriate
· Identify any trends or inconsistencies within the role which can further be used to assist in the training & development of colleagues
· Develop methods of communication with the HR Managers and HR Business Partners to ensure business consistency
Key Qualities & Attributes:
· Qualified to Degree level or equivalent
· Proven experience and excellent working knowledge of employee relations, UK Employment Law and HR best practice
· Ability to prioritise high volume workload
· Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continuous improvements within the business
