Harvey Nash are recruiting a Commercial Auditor for one of the UK's leading construction services entities. Based in Manchester with the need for significant UK travel, this highly rewarding role requires a candidate with a Quantity Surveyor background (not necessarily qualified) with sound knowledge of the construction sector (civil engineering and / or commercial developments). We see seek candidates with excellent planning and communication skills who are commercially astute and with an enquiring mind - individuals who understand project plans and can review them to ensure that the business is meeting both regulatory and best practice obligations. Reporting to the Head of Assurance but working largely on your own initiative, you will develop, execute and review the commercial audit plan,carrying out audits of business systems, policies and processes, leading, supporting and coaching staff (no direct reports) resulting in a high performance zero harm business operation.You need to be a confident character who can influence colleagues in a direct and yet collaborative manner.![]()
