A Data Analyst is required to assist with a high profile group-wide software licence compliance project. The analyst will help support the project team, comprising IT and Procurement staff, with tasks such as:
1. Analyse software asset data, establish compliance positions and present outcome to senior management.
2. Establish a Software Asset Management capability and process.
3. Implement SAM governance and establishing SAM capability and process.
4. Assist IT&S Managers, Service Delivery Managers (SDM) and Global Application Managers (GAM) in aligning to the SAM standard process.
5. Assist SDMs in managing software assets efficiently.
6. Work with internal teams to ensure that software asset risks are identified and addressed.
* Advanced data analysis skills, especially in Excel * Understanding of software licensing * Ability to work in an environment with/understand political sensitivities of a large organisation * Understanding of software contracts * Experience of software licence audits * Experience working in a project environment with multiple stakeholders * Attention to detail * Fast learner * Team player * Flexible working style * Effective time management and prioritisation * Good interpersonal skills
