Network Architect - Global WAN/CISCO/3rd Party
My client based in Bournemouth is a market leading organisation with a multinational reach. They are about to embark upon a large scale transformation programme meaning there is a dramatic need to increase their capability.
As a result they are currently looking to bring on board a Network Architect to take a lead on the infrastructure programme from an architectural perspective.
The role will have a number of responsibilities including:
* Network Solution design within existing technology stack and IT Infrastructure Strategy
* Focus on Global WAN, Core Networking and underpinning Architecture
* Design and management of Internet Facing Deployments
* Ensure the Security and Compliance of the network
In order to be suitable for this role candidates must exhibit:
* A strong background in infrastructure/network support and have moved through the ranks into an architecture/design focussed position
* Experience of Global WAN rollout/implementation/upgrade
* High levels of technical competence working with CISCO networking products across various environments including data centres
* Extremely strong management and assurance of third parties and their delivery
This is a contract role based in Bournemouth for an initial 6 month piece of work. Rates are negotiable based upon experience.
