Harvey Nash is working alongside a prestigious client who are offering a fantastic opportunity based in Leeds City centre. You will have a good commercial experience of non-functional testing / automated testing and will be able to create and maintain automated test plans. A key part of the role will involve creating, producing and maintaining regression packs for web-based applications therefore regression testing experience is required. Working on a .Net framework you will be responsible for ensuring that new developments, whether application or infrastructure, meet the specified requirements of the business and do not contain defects.
An ISEB Foundation Certificate or higher in Software Testing is desirable as is SQL transaction knowledge. A strong analytical and problem solving capability is essential with the ability to prioritise projects and activities. Furthermore, proven experience in automating web based projects using Selenium RC (or knowledge of another framework) is key to a successful application.
