My leading client based in Bristol is looking for a Test Analyst to join their Digital Business team. The successful candidates position will be to provide an IT & Change Testing service for the Digital business and support the implementation of all Digital project activity.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support new product and process development by testing processes and system functionality.
· Identify failures in processes, systems and data integrity and is able to suggest simplified improvements and make recommendations regarding the evaluation of risk.
· Proactively organize the administration of a variety of tasks as defined by Project Leads and effectively communicate the status of all activities related to one's workload.
· Perform user acceptance testing.
· Identify and articulate any issues or trends which could indicate failure.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience:
· Experience of working in an ecommerce environment essential.
· Knowledge and experience of implementing test automation both using tools and frameworks desirable.
· Implementation of testing best practices taking into account programme requirements
· Excellent written and oral language skills in order to articulate technical issues associated to work area
· Prior experience of test and programme management in high pressure situations for a large IT programme
· A good working knowledge of Excel, Word and presentation tools such as PowerPoint/Visio.
· Preferred experience of using business standard Testing Tools e.g. Quality Centre, Smart Test etc.
· Regulatory knowledge of Insurance and FSA Regulations; Selling & Renewals and Maintenance
· Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
