A Leading Law firm is looking for an experienced Sharepoint/C# Developer to join their IT department based in East Croydon. They are a Microsoft shop using Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2208R2, Sharepoint 207/2010, WPF, MVVM and a host of other third party products. They develop using .Net environment mainly in C# and also VB.Net. Succesful candidates will report directly to the Development Manager. They are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:Setting up or working with SharePoint environments and MOSS technologyDevelopment of websites using SharePoint technology, specifically SharePoint 2007Full understanding of asp.net and the general .net development environmentFull understanding of using the C# development language within the .Net 3.5 or .Net 4 environmentDesign and use of webpartsDirect experience of developing desktop applications using Winforms and code behind conceptsDetailed understanding of content deployment and managementThe ability to work unsupervised or as part of a virtual team across disparate locationsUnderstanding of SQL Server databases and data retrievalExperience of using source control applicationsWell spoken, articulate and able to deal directly with the user communityExperience of working as part of a development teamAny exposure to WPF and MVVM would be a definite assetIdeally the candidate will have 3-4 years' experience of development within the SharePoint and .Net environment.
