Document Control Administrator - Sunbury
My client, a high profile oil & gas company, is looking for a Document Control Administrator to join their team in Sunbury.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong knowledge of Document Management system tools
* Experience and knowledge of SharePoint 2003 2007 & 2010
* Computer literate - experience of MC 2010. PDF Creator
* A Very good eye for detail
Job Description:
* Control of registration, receipt of, distribution, scanning, filing and archiving of electronic and hardcopy formal internal and external correspondence & documentation
* Create and maintain document control files for different teams
* Organizing documents in site collections, sites and libraries, loosely structured document libraries for quick document collaboration. Within SharePoint 2003/2007 - organizing content into folders and subfolders
* Plan workflows: to be able to control and track where the new documents are when they move from team member to another
* Monitoring of SharePoints 2003/2007.
* Uploading / downloading electronic documents
* Work with the Document Controller to coordinate all activities related to the document control procedures
* Input document data into the North Africa Document Management System (NADMS) ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
* Make sure that controlled copies are latest approved documents
* Maintain the files and control the all North Africa registers
* Provide Administrator type support activities (copying, printing)
* Management of all document metadata
* Turn scanned documents into electronic searchable content in NADMS.
Essential Criteria && Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of Document Management system tools
* Demonstrate ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
* Awareness of Document Management Processes and Procedures is beneficial
* Experience and knowledge of records management and document control processes and procedures.
* Experience and understanding of the SharePoint 2003, 2007& 2010
* Computer literate - experience of Word, Excel, PDF Creator
* Merge documents from various formats into a single PDF.
