Harvey Nash Finance are recruiting exclusively on behalf of an International Manufacturing group. With annual turnover in excess of £10m the company has enjoyed impressive growth in recent years and now seek to appoint a qualified accountant as Financial Controller to undertake the number 1 finance role.
Reporting to the board you will provide a robust and timely financial reporting service including developing processes and undertaking projects.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting financial analysis and commentary Preparation of budgets with regular review
Cash flow management and forecasting
Statutory reporting and returns including liaison with external auditors
Management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable processes
Monthly payroll and VAT
Inter-company balance reconciliations
Responsibility for finance team management - UK and international
Attend quarterly Board meetings
The role is ideally suited to a commercially aware qualified Accountant (ACMA or equivalent) who has worked in a small to medium size manufacturing business and has strong technical reporting capability, excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humour! This is very much a 'hands on' finance role and will require a pro-active approach and flexibility including willingness to travel internationally as required (occasional).
