Business Analyst - Retail My client, a leading retail and services organisation are actively looking to recruit a Business Analyst working within the IT Projects team to deliver the business and technical projects. As part of the team, you will look at what they do, how they do it, and help design what they should do in the future. You will be become an expert in how the business works, and will be able to deliver continuous improvements to this process.Purpose of the role:To provide the bridge between our businesses needs or wants & the possible IT solutions available.To analyse business problems, producing feasibility studies, impact assessment and supporting business benefit cases, to allow the business to make informed decisions on the future.Main Responsibilities:· Build relationships within the business, to thoroughly understand the day to day business process with the aim of working with the business to continuously review and improve the way in which they work.· Own and facilitate business interviews or workshops required to define process areas or requirements.· Working with the wider business, IT and associated external supplier teams to ensure that any solutions implemented meet the business requirements.· Own and manage the scope and traceability of requirements on behalf of the business, throughout the project process.Essential Experience:· Extensive experience of investigating, analysing and documenting business processes, and defining supporting functional or non functional requirements.· Full project lifecycle business analysis experience in a fast paced environment, including implementation and handover to support.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including meeting and workshop facilitation.· Ability to adapt to change, and quickly respond to new business concepts in a changing environment.· Ability to work on multiple projects or tasks, by effectively planning your time and deliverables.· Working knowledge of Prince2 Project Management methodology.· Knowledge and experience of a retail environment.· Knowledge and experience of SAP or ERP.· Knowledge and experience of HP Quality Centre· Experience of Business Change Management techniques.If you feel suitable please apply.Image may be NSFW.
