IT Commercial and Contracts Analyst - Birmingham - £35-40k. A leading Blue Chip employer within Financial Services, based in Birmingham, is looking for a Service Strategy and Vendor Manager to join their Global Technology function. The function covers IT Applications, Voice, Network, Infrastructure and End User Services. This role will involve the "Go To Market" process and acquisition of new vendor services, and sits within the commercial management team. You will be responsible for Service and Supplier roadmaps, developing financial business cases, evaluating vendors and supporting the selection process. You will also support the development of commercial models and pricing structures for the service. You will agree acceptable commercial terms with stakeholders, and negotiate with vendors to achieve them. You will have significant strategic input into the suppliers strategy. The ideal candidate will have several years experience in service sourcing and market knowledge in IT infrastructures. You will have experience of negotiation and conflict resolution, be able to manage stakeholder and vendor relationships, and demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
