PMO Co-Ordinator - Central London
My client, a high profile media company, is looking for a PMO Co-Ordinator to join their team in Central London.
Role Purpose
To be a central point of contact for the PMO team and to ensure it is highly effective in supporting Delivery Assurance.
The post holder will report to the Programme Management Office (PMO) Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
To ensure the PMO is as effective as possible by providing day to day support with:-
Maintaining an overall filing convention, updating where required and ensuring appropriate use within the PMO
Booking and setting up meeting rooms
Centrally co-ordinating holidays
Maintaining diaries
Maintenance of the procurement process
Note taking and producing output for larger project meetings
To administer and co-ordinate the schedule for PMO team meetings
To manager the Change Request Log and associated changes to their conclusion
To centralise, maintain and version control all PMO artefacts and processes to ensure multiple versions are not retained
To support the PMO Manager in retaining and publishing an up to date and appropriate set of artefacts and processes for use by Programme and Project Managers
To assist the PMO Manager in preparation of presentations and documents
Provide ad hoc support to other members of the PMO
To co-ordinate the input to any communication items relating to the PMO and Delivery Assurance
To facilitate the internal and external communication process and maintain the communications plan
Essential Skills
Good organisational and planning skills to ensure work is appropriately prioritised and completed
Self motivated to work on your own and as part of a team
Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening) skills
Numerate, able to distil the key messages form large amounts of data quickly
