LEAD APPLICATION SUPPORT DEVELOPER - Manchester City Centre - .Net - C# - MVC
A well-established and innovative business in Central Manchester is seeking a Lead Application Support Developer to join their dynamic team.
You will be joining an organisation that has a diverse portfolio of services and who are continuously in the media reflecting their products, services and pioneering environment for their particular sector.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience of supporting and developing web based and Windows based applications across a broad range of technologies, ideally .net, C# and MVC in both 64bit and 32bit platforms.
Experience of leading and managing a small team of developers in support, bug fixing and issue resolution is essential, as well as being able to write and analyse C#/MVC .net code to resolve code faults and bugs.
Candidates will want to work within an ever changing, fast paced environment, where you will be a pro-active leader to your team, able to analyse problems and provide effective solutions across a variety of applications and systems.
Key Requirements:
· Knowledge of Web services including SOAP.
· Knowledge of application and system management requirements within a .net/ MVC data driven environment.
· High level of experience in maintaining web technology applications, technical applications support and analysis role, preferably search orientated or with a strong search component of the system.
· Excellent knowledge of CSS, XHTML, DHTML, development, Javascript, JSon, Ajax & SQL Server 2005-2008, with TSQL.
Other technical knowledge advantages to your experience will include:
· Visual Studio Packages.
· Standard Microsoft packages.
· Knowledge of ITIL Practices.
· Knowledge of Python, Raven DB & MongoDB.
· Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) such as N2 and Orchard.
· Knowledge of CMS integration.
This exciting opportunity is offering a salary of circa £38,000 - £46,000, dependent on experience and is inclusive of a competitive package.![]()
