Harvey Nash Finance are currently recruiting for a Group Financial Accountant to join a successful business based in Leeds.
Role;
To produce high quality, accurate and timely financial management information, including departmental analysis, key performance indicators and group management accounts across the business.
Main Tasks;
Management reporting and Financial Analysis
Maintenance of accounting records
Ownership of group VAT records and quarterly returns
Preparation and posting of all standard nominal ledger journals
Production of detailed profit and loss account and balance sheet
Person Specification;
Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
Previous experience of controlling financial accounting records and producing management reports
Advanced Excel Skills
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Experience of Sage line 500 and VAT returns is desirable
My client is also happy to consider experienced Part Qualified Accountants for the position.
In return my client is offering a Permanent position with a salary range £32,000 to £37,000 depending on level of experience.
