Business Intelligence Technical Services Manager required by bluechip organisation based in central Nottingham. Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence, this role manages the activities that are performed against the specific technical domain areas within the Business Intelligence Domain. You will be a recognised technical expert in Business Intelligence with high-level understanding and relationships to cover all the other Technical Service areas. In addition you will take ownership of the delivery of key components of the technology infrastructure allocated, and ensure delivery from all third parties is managed, measured and monitored.
The right candidate for this role will have demonstrable experience of Business Intelligence. In addition, you will have experience of working in a role whereby you have ensured that service is correctly maintained for the expanding Business Intelligence Environments by the outsourced providers. The role will provide an ideal opportunity for a technical person looking to transition into a more technical service management role. In addition, you will have experience of working in an environment with a server footprint split across physical and virtual configurations across a number of sites, Unix and Linux platform knowledge, combined with strong stakeholder management skills.![]()
