My London based client is looking for a strong and experienced .NET Developer. Key Skills for the role are: Excellent communication skills Strong experience in C#SQL ServerMVC Strong WebAPIStrong REST Strong knowledge of HTTP Strong TDD/Mocking (knowledge of BDD with Specflow too would be even better)SOLID principles Agile (Scrum/Kanban etc)Strong Javascript experience (through frameworks such as JQuery, KnockOut, BackBone, Angular etc)Experience of Jira would be useful, but not essential Experience of media/finance would be useful but not essential Knowledge of NOSQL DBs (esp MarkLogic) would be useful but not essential Knowledge of XQuery would be useful but not essential Experience of working with offshore teams would be useful but not essential The role is for a SOA middleware project which is running concurrently with a project to rebuild the CMS that powers my clients 100+ websites, and also to provide various services to another one of our companies that provides financial reports and analysis. This middleware is to provide content, security and semantic meta-tagging services to these apps. Ideal candidates would come from a start-up or start-up like environment working with a mix of .Net and open-source tools.![]()
