Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst - Gaming - London
My client, a leading B2B provider of products and services for online gaming operators, is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team. With the company growing at an exponential growth and providing their services in several European countries, they are keen for a motivated, analytical and creative individual to join their vibrant and growing company.
The responsibilities include:
· Liaise with business stakeholder, primarily the sports betting trading department, to gather and understand their objectives and requirements.
· Produce ad-hoc reports and scheduled reports to advise business stakeholders in decision making.
· Present finding in reports and presentations.
· Improve processes using data to help us measure multiple areas of the business.
· Design, build and maintain OLAP models, reporting schemas and dashboards within the Pentaho BI suite.
My client are looking for someone with:
· At least three years of work experience as a data analyst.
· At least a 2.1 from a top university with an analytical degree.
· Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel - data manipulation and working with large data sets.
· The ability to communicate with both business and technical minded colleagues.
· Experience with statistical modelling, Pentaho, WEKA or R is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
· A genuine interest in data driven decision making.
· Good interpersonal skills and a problem solving approach.
· Ability to proactively suggest new reports and analysis topics.
· Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and tools.
· Excellent attention to details and a passion for data.
· Creative and experimental mind-set to data analysis.
· Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize your own time.
· Preferably experience from the sports betting industry or a customer intelligence focused role.
