Business Analyst - £55,000-£70,000 per annum
My client, a leading software consultancy is actively seeking an Agile Business Analyst to provide client-facing and hands-on agile development leadership.
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
· Lead the design and development of software applications
· Aiding teams/clients in their transition to agile development methodologies
· Gathering and prioritising stakeholder requirements through use of workshops etc.
· Producing detailed architectural plans
· Leading iterative development sprints through client, near-shore and 3rd party resource teams
· Lead the development of highly iterative applications and frameworks with Java, JavaScript and HTML5
The key skills & experience required are as follows:
· A Minimum of 5 years object orientated application development experience with modern Open Source technologies such as Java, JavaScript and HTML5.
· Prior experience working with Agile project teams. An understanding of the benefits of Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum and Lean, the differences between Agile methods, and how they can be applied together.
· Experience leading consulting engagements and/or technical teams - coaching, teaching and guiding people in the various roles in a project driven organisation.
· ScrumMaster certification.
· Sound communication skills including ability to formally present at peer level and to senior client audiences.
· Strong commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics.
The role will involve extensive travel away from home during the working week.
