My client; a leading Insurance company is looking for a Sharepoint Developer to join their IT department, based in Croydon.
They are a Microsoft shop using Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2208R2, Sharepoint 2007/2010, WPF, MVVM and a host of other third party products.
They develop using .Net environment mainly in C# and also VB.Net. Successful candidates will report directly to the Development Manager.
They are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:Setting up or working with SharePoint environments and MOSS technology Development of websites using SharePoint technology, specifically SharePoint 2007Full understanding of asp.net and the general .net development environment Full understanding of using the C# development language within the .Net 3.5 or .Net 4 environment Design and use of webparts
Direct experience of developing desktop applications using Winforms and code behind concepts Detailed understanding of content deployment and management The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a virtual team across disparate locations Understanding of SQL Server databases and data retrieval Experience of using source control applications Well spoken, articulate and able to deal directly with the user community.
Experience of working as part of a development team. Any exposure to WPF and MVVM would be a definite asset.
