IT Project Manager - User Experience

12 Month Contract - £450pd
A leading Milton Keynes based business is currently seeking to hire a Senior project manager to join their team on a 12 month contract. The successful applicant will lead a series of IT projects and discrete IT work packages within the Programme centred upon enhancing the online and offline experiences for prospective customers. To provide effective co-ordination and management between the Core Management Team and IT teams in order to ensure that projects and requests are prioritised, resourced, and successfully delivered.
The role requires a high degree of stakeholder relationship management to work effectively across the business.
Essential Knowledge and Experience
* Specific senior level experience of managing software development, systems architecture and systems integration projects in large-scale ecommerce or sales/marketing oriented settings.
* Fully conversant with modern IT systems, web development software development methods and structured project management methodologies. .
* A strong track record of large successful software developments and package integration / implementation.
* Proven experience of complex decision-making in a complex environment
* Proven experience of developing and maintaining good and effective relationships with internal and external business partners
* Proven experience of effectively managing Third Party suppliers
* Proven experience of managing, motivating and developing team members both collectively and individually and of achieving positive cultural change
* Demonstrable thought leadership within previous businesses
* Proven ability to understand business drivers, pressures and value
* Strong understanding or Business and Enterprise Architecture
* Ability to simplify and communicate complex issues
* Experience of working in a matrix environment
