3rd Line Support - Windows XP, Office XP, Internet Explorer, Cisco, and other Wintel related technologies.
Our client is looking for a 3rd Line Desktop Engineer for a short term contract to cover annual leave in March.
Main duties and responsibilities:
-Provide 3nd line support to customers both via email, telephone and face to face.
-Provide support by both telephone (sometimes using remote control software) and desk side visits where appropriate to ensure quick resolution of problems. Support should also be provided for all internal software applications.
-Install, configure, support and troubleshoot software application and services including, all core bespoke business applications, Windows XP, Office XP, Office 2007, Worksite, Internet Explorer, LANDesk, Windows 2003 Server, Terminal Services and Anti Virus issues.
-Troubleshoot switchboard telephone system issues using ARC.
- Install,configure and support remote networking connectivity.
This is a short term contract (c15 days) with a daily rate of £200-£240 (hourly pay will also be considered)![]()
