Senior Retail Site Systems Service Analyst
50 - 60K per annum
Senior Retail Site Systems Service Analyst is required by our client to provide their expertise for the company’s card payment processing system in the UK.
A key requirement is to work closely with the Non Cash Transaction terminal (NCTt) project to transition into Operations as well as being the on-going primary point of escalation and resolution for the NCTt card payment issues within the UK Applications team. The candidate will act as co-ordinator and QA owner of IT changes to the company’s retail site estate as advised by the UK business, ensuring delivery to business expectations.
Key accountabilities include:
* To be the local IT subject matter expert for the clients card payment processing in the UK, working closely with the NCTt project team to transition into Operations.
* To be the Single Point of Accountability for all UK NCTt operations and activities and to be the escalation point for all matters concerning UK NCTt.
* To manage all UK NCTt operations, including all activities performed by internal and external service providers.
* To performance manage the service providers providing services for UK NCTT operations, including the L1 and L2 site support organisations and the site hardware maintenance organisation. The external company providing the card payment terminal will be performance monitored, but not managed as this is the accountability of the L2 organisation.
* To obtain, review and agree all service providers’ monthly performance statistics and to hold periodic performance review meetings to drive adherence to agreed service levels.
* To manage issues with internal (CO) and external (DO) Point of Sale (POS) vendors when uncertainty surrounding UK NCTT operational issues exist.
* To manage card payment related change control activities for the UK in the Emaintenance and Remedy tools.
* To represent the UK by working with European counterparts on pan-European issues and developments.
* To maintain and develop all card payment related documentation, working with necessary parties to agree processes.
* To manage and co-ordinate the IT elements of retail site estate changes in the UK, ensuring adherence to agreed processes and procedures.
Key requirements include:
* ITIL V3 Foundation certification
* Ability to work effectively with other team members and under own initiative, taking ownership of issues and seeing them through to satisfactory resolution.
* Logical investigative and root-cause analytical skills with the ability to solve previously unseen problems.
* Experience of the CVP process or equivalent and an ability to author and review technical documentation.
* Understanding / knowledge of SAP (Retail, BW, Finance, Merchandising).
* Experience in service delivery management, working within an outsourced / offshore support model and managing 3rd party relationships and service level agreements.
* Understanding / Knowledge of Retail Site Operations and Fuel Systems.
