BI Solutions Consultant - 3 months contract (initially) - Bradford (West Yorkshire)
Purpose of role: To support the use of BI, acting as consultant to the business in identifying appropriate solutions. Building of appropriate solutions, and supporting the business in the use of these. To liaise with functions to drive self-sufficiency in reporting and to ensure appropriate training and guidance is available.
Professional qualifications or essential experience required:
Degree level or equivalent.
Excellent analytical and communications skills.
Essential Knowledge and experience:
· Business Objects Enterprise suite of tools
· Web Intelligence
· Universe Designer
· Administration tools.
Any exposure to these tools would be a bonus:
· Oracle BI
· Oracle 11G
· ETL Tools and Development
· BI Design methodology's
· Security Matrix design
Accountabilities
Design and estimate work required to build appropriate universes.
Document Universes.
Ensure that all universes adhere to best practices.
Create Web Intelligence reports and support business users in developing their own reports.
To oversee the development, implementation and upkeep of the BI security model.
Monitor and administer the BOE application to ensure its smooth running.
Testing of universes and support of users during their UAT phase of an implementation.
