IT Service Desk Manager

IT Service Desk Manager - £40K - 50K - Leicestershire - ITIL: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Desk Manager with a leading retail organisation based in Leicestershire .

Key requirements for this role are that you have experience of managing a team of IT Support professionals in a fast paced ITIL environment, where priority incidents are common and that you are accustomed to working well under pressure.Supporting across a range of platforms, you will lead the team in a highly customer service driven environment. You will have proven leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring staff in order to strive for continuous improvement.

The environment is ITIL aligned and is extremely busy. You must therefore be able to stay calm under pressure, delegate effectively and passionately lead your team to success. You will need to be an effective communicator with a self-starter nature.

Job Purpose: -Plan and manage the IT Service Desk team and support to the business.
- Own the relationship and communications between IT Service Team and the business
- Line Management of the Service Desk Team of 10
- Responsible for reporting the IT SLAs
- Managing specific 3rd parties
- Responsible for the escalation and management of Major Service Incidents
