PMO Finance Lead - Uxbridge
My client, a high profile oil & gas company, is looking for a PMO Finance Lead to join their team in Uxbridge.
The PMO Finance Lead manages the portfolio financial submissions including co-ordinating and submitting the monthly financial forecast and accruals. They will also lead forecasting and accruals for IT led projects. The PMO Finance Lead brings increased discipline and rigour to Financial Management within the portfolio.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Review project finances and prepare the monthly financial submissions on behalf of the portfolio.
- Review and submit monthly portfolio accruals.
- Prepare reports for the portfolio showing monthly finance forecast and variance reporting.
- Co-ordinate and manage the portfolio forecasting process for IT Led projects.
- Lead and manage the quarterly cross charge process.
- Lead monthly reviews to review project forecasting and charges.
- Review financial risk for the portfolio and proactively raise risks to PMO Lead for escalation.
- Handle financial admin for the portfolio including internal orders creation.
- Act as point of response for financial queries within the portfolio.
- Conduct project financial deep dives.
- Own the portfolio forecast for the Management team.
- Manage the planning, budgeting, reporting processes across the Finance and Tax portfolio.
- Manage master data for the portfolio.
- Financial analysis - conduct variance analysis and construct insightful commentary.
- Comply with policy requirements e.g. T&E, Consultancy, other.
Specific experience and skills include:
- Understand Finance strategy and priorities
- Understanding of the Investment Portfolio
- Financial management
- Knowledge of programme and project management, methodologies and tools
- Risk analysis
- Excel financial modelling
- Stakeholder management
- Effective communications and reporting
