Group Head of IT Security - £80-£100K + Car + Bonus - Our client a prestigious retail organisation is looking to recruit a Group Head of IT Security to join their senior Group level management team. As the Group Head of IT Security you will be responsible for the management of the selection, design, justification, implementation and operation of information security strategies and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and compliance of information systems. You will provide leadership and guidelines on Information Assurance for the business working effectively with the strategic organisational functions, e.g HR, Legal, Audit and Risk to compile relevant and effective IT & IM security policies. Additionally you will be responsible for the delivery of operational services including, information security monitoring, policy enforcement, software security testing, penetration testing, Antivirus services, encryption, information security incidents and information security training.
As the ideal candidate you will have the following skills and experience:
· Experience managing IT security ideally in a global organisation.
· Security expertise in managing security in a multi-channel environment (mobiles, tablets etc
· Able to demonstrate having achieved leading edge security solutions (ahead of risks as they evolve).
· Has a good overall knowledge of wide areas of information systems practice and applications
· Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the business applications of Information Systems and a wide practical knowledge of the principles of information management
· Is effective and persuasive in both written and oral communication
· Understands information systems auditing practices
· Is familiar with the principles and practices involved in development and maintenance and in service delivery
· Has extensive technical understanding and the aptitude to remain up to date with IT security and developments
As the ideal candidate you will be CISSP/CISM certified and have experience working within a retail multi-channel environment with solid understanding of ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS compliance.
