An IT Director opportunity has arisen working for a Not-for-Profit organisation going through a significant period of change. This is a key role within a new organisation structure and will hold responsibility for the Information Services and Information Technology function, comprising of c. 40 staff. The IT Director will be required to define and implement a new and appropriate technology strategy to enable the organisation to achieve its objectives, whilst undertaking a thorough review of technology provision within the organisation to ensure technology solutions are fit for purpose and the technology platform enables the organisation to operate efficiently, effectively and securely. You will be required to improve processes and documentation and introduce a customer centric approach within the IT and IS teams, introducing best practice methodology and Service Level Agreements (SLA's) within the function.
The appointed candidate will be an inspirational IT Leader, with experience of managing medium to large teams within a complex organisation. You will have previous experience of defining and implementing IT Strategy and consolidating technology solutions to improve efficiency. You will be customer centric in your approach will thrive in developing a customer service culture within your team, whilst building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential with any experience of ITIL, Prince2 or similar methodologies highly advantageous.Image may be NSFW.
