Counterparty Reference Data Project Manager
£60K - £70K
Data Project Manager is required by my client to manage the project from initial stages of Appraise through to Execution to ensure benefits are realised through the adoption of the strategic solution and associated processes.
Key Accountabilities include:
* Responsible for the project management of the Global Counterparty Reference Data project adhering to the Client’s Project Delivery Method.
* Stakeholder management of the business users, stakeholders and application support teams.
* Agree and implement project governance structure.
* Agree and implement, along with Business Change, a Benefits Assessment and Realisation plan.
* Manage the relationship with internal and external suppliers to ensure appropriate services are delivered and that these are within agreed SLAs.
* Own, develop and maintain a workable project plans, schedule / cost the work.
* Proactive problem identification and resolution, raise, monitor and mitigate against risks and issues.
* Work with Technical Architect / Functional Architect to develop technical and service adoption road map and ensure the solution meets Design-to-Operate criteria.
* Prepare collateral for Governance Boards as required.
* Actively manage project budget and report status against budget to project governance board.
* Work with the operations teams to ensure successful delivery, including operational acceptance testing, training and go-live.
Desired Experience includes:
* Experience of delivering or managing the delivery of IT services in a global blue chip enterprise.
* Experience working in IT in project management role in medium to large projects in a financial or global trading environment.
* Experience of developing an IT strategy.
* Experience of implementing a global solution.
* Proven experience of managing teams - directly or indirectly of at least 20 people.
* Experience of managing budgets of at least £3 million and challenging time scales.
* PMP qualification.
* Experience of working in demanding delivery focused user and software development environments.
