Retail Head Office Analyst
£30K - £40K per annum
Retail Head Office Analyst required by my client to provide expertise for DART (SAP) modules - Merchandising, Business Warehouse, Finance, Dry Stock Supply Chain and POSDM. The candidate will support other Retail Head Office applications used by the business.
Key accountabilities of the role include:
* Deliver support for UK’s Retail Head Office applications in line with agreed end to end support models through a good understanding of the UK business model and IT systems.
* Be a local IT subject matter expert for DART as used in the UK and have an awareness of retail site back office applications.
* Ensure data integrity and data flow between DART and GSS site back office and other applications.
* Resolve incidents caused by failure of DART at a Head Office level and communicate clearly with business users.
* Work with other internal and external service desks to ensure that all incidents and service requests are logged, tracked and escalated where necessary to ensure timely resolution.
* Undertake problem management and root cause analysis activities to rectify on-going issues and work with the DART Central Team to implement approved workarounds/fixes where necessary.
* Work with business users in partnership with third party providers in resolving service requests and incidents.
* Perform end to end process monitoring and provide continuous improvement suggestions to improve processes and service levels.
* Participate in application development projects and in planning for the future.
* Assist with the testing of new system changes, software releases, patches and bug fixes, liaising with business users as necessary.
* Maintain documentation in line with changes to the applications and business model.
* Work flexibly across the Clients Applications team, using analysis skills and business knowledge in delivering the agreed IT service, with a particular emphasis on the UK’s Retail Head Office applications.
Essential experience includes:
* Ability to work with the internal business users and external third party service providers.
* Ability to work effectively with other team members and under own initiative, taking ownership of issues and seeing them through to satisfactory resolution.
* Logical investigative and root-cause analysis skills with the ability to solve previously unseen problems.
* Pro-active approach to consistently deliver service delivery improvements to the UK business.
* Awareness of project lifecycles and an ability to review technical documentation.
* Understanding / knowledge of SAP (Retail, BW, Finance, Merchandising).
