A Technical Analyst (TA) is required to join the Compliance & Internal Control Team to take a key role in the engagement, change delivery work, and technical analysis for the Accsys programme.
This TA role requires a solid understanding of trading. Candidates will have an excellent track record as a technical analyst with experience of business and data analysis methods, in a commodities trading or investment banking environment.
This is a demanding delivery role facing off to the business community and architecture team. The role requires an individual who wants to apply and expand their existing skills and knowledge in a complex environment whilst welcoming and overcoming fresh challenges.
Key accountabilities
* Provide a key point of liaison between the user community and the project team.
* Provide a strong in depth technical lead for the Accsys solution operation and change delivery work both defect and enhancements.
* Identify, engage, and manage key business stakeholders to secure appropriate business resources to support their portfolio of applications.
* Perform technical analysis according to prevailing delivery/support agenda and standards. Facilitate business requirements, prototyping and product demonstration meetings & workshops.
* Drive any key issues through to resolution with key stakeholders and other communities within the business and IT&S.
* Produce detailed specifications and data mapping artefacts.
* Ensure effective and accurate knowledge transfer of detailed requirements to architecture, development & testing teams.
* Manage delivery of work as a project to maintain schedule, costs, scope and risks and issues management.
Essential experience and job requirements
* Knowedge of Aveksa product suite or equivalent, Active Directory Technology, IBM Tivoli Access & Identity Manager systems.
*Experience in and knowledge of structured systems and data analysis methodologies, standards, tools and techniques.
* Experience of complex trading environments and associated systems.
* Strong, confident and persuasive style that is complemented by well-developed listening, verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders and to operate successfully at all levels within a team / organisation.
* Full project life-cycle experience from requirements gathering through testing, then implementation and early life support, within large complex projects / programmes with globally diverse groups of stakeholders.
* Experienced in the lifecycles of data and how data interacts with processes. This experience to include data analysis and logical data modelling techniques and tools.
* Experienced in basic SQL and Business Objects reporting.
* Detailed understanding and demonstrable experience of Identity and Access Management in an enterprise environment.
* Experience of identifying, negotiating and agreeing requirements with business customers and translating them into IT solutions through further analysis with architecture, developers and testers.
Desirable criteria & qualifications
* A good working knowledge of the practical application of Roles, Segregation of Duties (SoD) and Access Governance.
* Experience of working with external suppliers, vendors and partners; including onshore and offshore teams.
