Front office Lead Architect

Front Office Lead Architect sought by leading financial services firm based in the city of London.

* In depth IT experience as an architect.
* Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to inspire senior business and technical colleagues with the architecture vision. Ability to present ideas well graphically (functional architecture drawings, process) as well as verbally.
* Strong team player and willingness to share knowledge and best practice.
* Functional skills - proven track record in business analysis & solution design. Familiar with associated methodology.
* Experience in an Oil trading environment or investment banking infrastructure combined with awareness of industry needs & business challenge.
* Experience in Physical Oil transaction processing, physical supply and trading and Trading Operations.
* Experience Derivatives Trading & Derivatives applications.
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/XP delivery techniques.
* Experience with front office Architecture models and methods.
* Knowledge of integration technologies i.e. TIBCO, MQ Series.
* Proven track record of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
* Strong technical background.
* TOGAF 9 certification; The successful candidate is expected to be TOGAF qualified within the first year of starting the role.

Technical Skills:
- Java
- .Net
- Oracle and MS SQL
- Webserver
- Application Integration; ETL, JMS and ESB
- Strong understanding of distributed architecture
* Experience of working with offshore partners and remote teams.
* Knowledge of IST’s organisation’s application suite and its supporting infrastructure, architecture, strategy and roadmap.
* Broad systems and infrastructure background.
*Grid Computing technologies i.e. Data Synapse etc.
