PMO Analyst - Swindon

My client, a high profile oil & gas company is loking for a PMO Analyst to join their team in Swindon.

Key accountabilities
· Detail planning support and integration checking progress of key milestones and updating central integrated plan
· Maintaining the Programme key meetings calendar and central co-ordination of overall programme level meeting structure
· Recording actions, risks & issues from fortnightly workstream updates, programme meetings and other ad hoc meetings as required
· Consolidation of the fortnightly workstream updates and raising key issues for discussion & escalation
· Programme level status updates for reporting to Steering Group & Sponsors (using input from workstream level reports)
· Tracking progress and closeout of actions, risks & issues with follow-up and escalation as required (esp cross workstream)
· Support in the development of material for Programme reviews, governance meetings and stakeholder engagement sessions.
· Programme assurance actions as requested and required. eg. checking plans, risk registers & quality of workstream reporting
· Maintain and facilitate the update of the portfolio mmt tool ensuring requirements are met to enable SPU portfolio mmt
· Configuration management- ie tracking document version control and maintaining e-room documentation

Essential experience and job requirements
*Experience in a PMO and/or Project Management role
*Experience of using MS Office applications to perform analyses (MS Excel & Access) and Presentations / Reports (PowerPoint & Word)
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, across the whole project irrespective of seniority, organizational or contractual boundaries
*Excellent Project Management and Business Process abilities.
*Strong organisational skills with demonstrably high attention to detail and application of rigorous quality checking
*Able to work on several tasks at the same time
*Strong problem Solving skills
*Strong commitment to HSSE
*High level of self-motivation

Desirable criteria & qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field
*Project Management qualification eg. Prince II or equivalent
*Fluency in English and knowledge of other languages
*Experience working within a large organizations and performing effectively in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment.
