This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading and extremely fast paced / vibrant organisation based in Central Leeds. This well-known & very large organisation requires a Project Manager to start immediately and hit the ground running.
You will have fantastic communication skills as you will work with all levels of stakeholder; whilst also reporting to the Group Head of IT. A large part of the role will see you supporting the Group Head of IT to deliver IT services that can grow with the business, meeting my clients immediate and longer term needs.
You will matrix manage project teams and produce and manage all project documentation including but not limited to; Project Initiation, Brief, Budget, Risk Register and Issue Log. You will support managers through the full project life cycle helping to accurately capture their requirements, initiate new projects and successfully deliver projects improving my clients operational efficiency. This is a large IT department that delivers large scale web systems in ASP.NET, C# and T-SQL environment.
My client is heavily investing in IT at the moment to ensure future growth of the organisation is supported. This is a high profile company and a high pressure environment. You will have excellent communication & organisation skills. You will be able to adapt to ever changing needs and have a proven track record. You will be at least Prince 2 Foundation qualified. You will have previously matrix managed internal and external teams to deliver multiple projects. You will also have experience of business process mapping and managing multiple projects with budgets of up to £1 million. If you are ITIL 3.0 Foundation or Prince 2 practitioner (or equivalent) qualified this would be highly desirable. This is an agile environment.![]()
