An exciting opportunity has arisen to join my Manchester based client following a restructure, reporting directly to the European Infrastructure Services Manager. You will be part of a small team in a busy department providing support to our European offices. Your technical ability and coordination skills, alongside business facing skills will be superb with the ability to quickly build rapport and strong working relationships with the business users and management. Objective:* Primarily responsible for the design, layout, development and customisation of web applications* Co-ordination of technical change requests, including Web and EDI.Main Tasks:* Carry out systems analysis, web design and associated tasks as required.* Development, configuration, administration and support of European Web applications/services.* Co-ordination of projects and technical change requests for:A) Web development B) EDIC) Other Technical, as required* Coordination / leadership of web development team * Provide additional support for other projects and activities, particularly in other teams * Third party co-ordination and liaison.Requirements:Essentials* Experience of leading/coordinating a team.* Excellent skills in software/web development and Internet technologies, for example asp.Net, Javascript, , HTML, XML, CSS, SQL* Excellent skills in configuration and customisation of web applications, e.g SharePoint* Good experience of desktop technologies, especially Microsoft software packages and a good all round awareness of associated computer operational and telecommunication procedures.* Up to date knowledge of current/future Web and EDI trends.* Effective interpersonal skills and communication skills.* Business analysis and report writing skills.* Thorough and precise in all work, whilst being able to multi-task* Able to work on own or in a team, to tight deadlines.Desirables* Asp.NET skills* Understanding of SAP interfacing is advantageous.* Experience of ServiceNow service management application is advantageous.![]()
