SAP FICO Support Consultant - SAP, Finance, FICO, FI/CO, Support, Configuration
My client, a Leading Global Organisation is currently looking for an SAP FICO support consultant to join their team. The role will involve Support, maintenance and enhancement of their existing SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support, maintenance and enhancement of existing SAP solutions.
· A consistent and secure operation of SAP systems within the agreed service level agreement.
· Coordination of changes to the SAP environment taking into account all the key functional and non-functional requirements.
· To be the functional expert for the SAP systems, helping the Business users with system function queries.
· Manage systems issues to resolution and implement long term solutions to ensure that the same problems do not reoccur.
· Suggest, gain approval and implement system improvement plans leading to better system performance and reduced operational costs.
· Support, maintain, and enhance existing SAP solutions including, but not limited to:
· Collaborating with appropriate business areas, operations support teams, Technology and developers on requirements gathering, solution design, and creation of production support specifications
· Facilitating and/or participating in functional and technical solution reviews with management, developers, architects, and infrastructure (SAP Basis) representatives
· Configuring solutions where applicable
· Creating and executing appropriate test cases and ensuring the integrity of the solution prior to business unit and user acceptance testing
· Working with the business to resolve solution defects that are identified
· Communicating the final solution to the business and coordinating the implementation of the solution to the production environment
· Updating system documentation
· Collaborate with other functional engineers, team leads, managers, and business representatives to determine schedules and project timeframes.
