A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Oracle DBA with line management experience to join a market-leading organisation based in the North West.
If you have the following experience this could be the perfect opportunity for you:
· Provide technical management of the Oracle E-Business Suite
· Promote the technical strategy, develop and implement appropriate technical designs and provide day to day technical service
· Line manage a team (up to 9 direct reports)
· Develop and maintain partnership relationships with key suppliers and technical authorities in order to maintain own position as technical leader in areas of expertise
· Co-ordinate and lead small teams to deliver project activities within overall business change projects
· Deliver technical design and development activities to programmes and projects
As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will be leading a team of 9 DBA's to contribute to the definition of, and champion, technical strategy for the companies HR systems. You will provide support for the IT platforms that underpin our HR database; these systems are essential in the day-to-day running of the business. Confidence in your technical expertise and awareness of industry trends is essential as you will be required to present yourself as the technical authority and adapt to recommend technical strategies and designs. You will provide technical management of the Oracle E-Business Suite, therefore experience of database management in Oracle environments is essential, including disaster recovery.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team, in a challenging lead technical role; to do this successfully you will need extensive skills in the following areas:
· Technical expert in Oracle E-Business Suite
· Repeated proven experience of maintaining, upgrading and implementing Oracle e-business suite applications at release R12
· Experience in ASM, RAC and multinode environments
· Proven experience in line management
· Technical management of a portfolio of applications
· Proven experience of performing a technicallead role in a project environment
· Good understanding of industry trends
· Good working knowledge of Corporate Businesses
· Proven ability in developing and promoting technical strategies and designs
· Repeated proven experience of maintaining, upgrading and implementing Oracle e-business suite and/or MS SQL Server applications
· Experience of managing technical and non-technical teams to achieve technical delivery
· A flexible approach in working hours
