Group IT Director - Attractive package - West Midlands. An opportunity exists for an experienced IT Leader to join a FTSE 250 organisation, based in the West Midlands. The Group IT Director will have Operational, Transformation and Budgetary responsibility for the delivery of IT across the group. This will include providing leadership, direct management and developing competitive advantage on behalf of the business. Your responsibilities will include:- Involvement in the groups Strategic Plan and support of the Target Operating Model- Lead and develop the IT Team, to include talent and succession planning- Influence the direction and prioritisation of key IT projects- Ensure that Technology is both empowering and enabling business opportunity- Ensure effective Vendor and Commercial Management- Manage stakeholders and inter-departmental communications- Develop business-case justifications and cost / benefit analysis. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:- Effective communication at Board level- Excellent Leadership and influencing skills- Ability to manage complex stakeholders and relationships- Natural credibility with IT and Business leaders- Previous Transformation experience, ideally of an IT function within a large and complex corporate environment- 3rd Party and supplier management- Strength of Character- Track record of continuous improvement- Be a starter completer.
