With a strategy for business growth & expansion underpinned by a market leading position, the future is looking very exciting for my client.

Reporting to the Managing Director and also alongside the Commercial, Marketing and Finance Directors, this role will support the business strategically and operationally whilst providing a full HR service to the Divisional Team. This broad HR role will encompass partnering with the Regional and Business Managers and local staff to ensure that the division’s vision, goals, policies and standards are communicated consistently across the region and endorsed at site level. This individual will also undertake specific internal HR consultancy and interface with the Group HR function in support of Group-wide HR processes. They will provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to local HR functions within the division. The company currently operates across 14 countries globally.

Key areas of responsibility:
· Provide direction and management for all HR matters arising from organization change and growth initiatives.
· Communicate and drive an effective performance management process to enhance employee engagement, encourage performance excellence, identify training needs and retain top talent.
· Ensure that good performance is recognised and poor performance is managed by partnering with management.
· Manage annual pay review
· Manage and support the HR integration activities to create "one business” approach within the region
· Work with Business Managers to create a learning environment at all levels in the organization.
· Manage recruitment process across business from senior positions at regional level, to graduate recruitment and all levels in-between.
· lead the talent acquisition process and initial assessment of potential candidates; and participate in the onsite selection process for key positions.
· Develop and disseminate HR policies and procedures and roll-out policies as required
· Manage internal disciplinary process and co-ordinate with external parties as required (e.g. legal advice).

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre and be a Chartered Member of the CIPD or equivalent. You will have broad HR generalist experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing or distribution environment. You will also need to have excellent communication skills (both oral & written) and be numerate. A self-starter, the successful candidate will need to display determination, directness, tact and diplomacy in equal measure and they must be capable of handling confidential information discretely.

This role requires the individual to be knowledgeable, credible and highly commercial and all with a ';muck-in’ approach. Ideally International experience and additional language skills would be highly advantageous. This role will require travel both within the UK and Internationally.
