Network Engineer/ CCNP Network Engineer needed for Managed Service Client in London City. This position is a customer facing technical role installing, configuring and supporting data networks. As the network engineer you will be installing solutions working within the provisioning technical team. You will be responsible for reviewing solutions, configuring, and testing, documenting and final handover to both internal teams and to customers. You will also be expected to provide 3rd level technical support to customers from time to time including out of hours support as part of a rota. Experience of other systems such as Linux / windows operating systems is a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate must have a CCNP qualification with hands on experience with layer 2 / layer3 services. Extensive experience with configuring and troubleshooting layer2. Extensive experience with configuring and troubleshooting OSPF. Experience of configuring Cisco IOS routers and switches. Experience in configuring firewalls (ideally Juniper), troubleshooting policies and IPSec VPNs. Some firewall/VPN knowledge (juniper) is required. 9.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
