Internal Account Manager, Sales target, product portfolio, Customer Service A leading name within the IT world requires an Internal Account Manager with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and cross selling new opportunity's / services The role:Deliver great customer experience and retain the existing customer base through re-contracting and establishing multi-point relationships. Create and drive campaigns, in conjunction with colleagues, manager and relationship marketingDeveloping business from existing SME customers to up-sell and cross-sell opportunitiesProgressing deals along the sales cycle and closing business. Developing a good understanding of customer's business in order to propose technical solutions that add value to their businessActing as the customer 'owner' internally and taking responsibility to ensure customer expectations are consistently metBuild relationships with SME AccountsMaximising use of telephone based sales, including the use of on-line tools.Calling customers to uncover opportunities for the full portfolio of products and servicesProactively engaging with customers to ensure that they are aware of the range of services offered and how they align to the customer's business objectives. Manage and sell into the "whitespace" for allocated accounts.To retain and re-contract existing services To qualify and hand off larger, complex opportunities to the high touch field sales teams.Build positive and consistent relationships within your account territoryUp-sell to existing customers as per targets, re-signing / re-contracting and growing where appropriateDevelop and manage opportunities in line with the sales strategy and in line with the defined stages of the sales pipeline.Be knowledgeable in our portfolio of solutions.Communicate with customers to keep them fully aware of the launch of new services and roadmap.Provide accurate forecasts and reports on activity and sales performance as and when required by management.Carry out regular basic service reviews and develop Service Improvement Plans for your key clients to maximise retentionEnsure full compliance with all internal processes including accurate and timely maintenance of CRM recordsSkills required: Proven track record of sales target achievement and portfolio increases.Solid commercial awarenessUnderstands principles of account management and sales methodologyDemonstrable track record of building customer relationships Ability to communicate at all levels, both written and verbalStrong team player with capacity to lead and make decisions when requiredTelesales, sales and / or account management experience with at least some of this being spent within an IT Services environment.
