Our Nottingham based client is currently able to offer an experienced Automation test Analyst the opportunity to join their organisation on a permanent basis within their Test & Validation team. You would also integrate into the Software Development SCRUM Team. The candidate we are seeking for this position will be skilled and experienced in the following areas; Ø Previous agile test experience (SCRUM)Ø Experience of using FitNesse (or similar product) for scripting and test execution / data managementØ Good task planning & estimating skillsØ Good communicator both verbally & in writing Ø Excellent attention to detailØ Quick thinkerØ Desire to build quality in from inceptionØ Desire to support customers but with a business biasØ Experience with the following would also be beneficial:* Embedded software environmentso C#/C++ (or other languages)* The key responsibilities of this role are:Ø Complete tasks in a manner that supports and facilitates the SCRUM methodologyØ Define acceptance criteria up frontØ Provide accurate test estimatesØ Plan, design & perform test activities; creation of test plans & scripts, execution of tests, review of resultsØ Work closely with others to drive planning, designing or performing test activitiesØ Consistently demonstrate continuous improvement ideologyIn addition you will have excellent attention to detail and observation skills and good communication skills.Salary for this role will be in the region of £25,000 to £30,000 (skill set dependant) plus bonus and benefits package.![]()
